Your support helps us plan confidently and put every penny back into future recordings of overlooked British opera.  The cost of making recordings has increased considerably since Retrospect Opera began its work. It has therefore become necessary to revise and, to an extent, simplify our Sponsorship Scheme. To this end, we are moving towards a three-tiered sponsorship system with BRONZE, SILVER and GOLD MEMBER categories, with a special PLATINUM SUPPORTER category for larger gifts and legacies on an individual basis, as follows:

BRONZE MEMBER

£5 per month or £75+ as a single donation

  • Name listed in CD booklet and website

  • Letter of thanks when you sign up

  • Copy of our next CD upon release

SILVER MEMBER

£15 per month or £200+ as a single donation

  • All Bronze Member benefits
  • Invitations to members’ events
GOLD MEMBER

£40 per month or £600+ as a single donation

  • All Bronze and Silver Member benefits
  • An additional CD from our back catalogue
  • A thank-you letter signed by a member of the cast (or conductor) upon the CD’s release
  • Invitation to attend recording sessions where possible and appropriate
PLATINUM SUPPORTER

Larger gifts and bespoke patronage (including legacies) are welcomed on an individual basis. If you’d like to explore this option, please contact us at the address below.

For donations of this kind, Retrospect Opera may, at its discretion, extend the title of Platinum Supporter (replacing our previous Life Member title).

A note about monthly gifts: our new monthly scheme assumes regular donations for at least 12 months, but we will always try to take a flexible and generous view in individual cases.
