Recording The Boatswain's Mate

Here you can see pictures of our performers at work, our conductor, and our recording engineer.

The Boatswain's Mate Recording Venue

The elegant surroundings to the beautiful St Mary's Church, Walthamstow, London, where we rehearsed and recorded.  There were several beautiful houses and buildings.

The Raymond and Agnes Rehearsals

At a major event in Bath, UK, in October 2015, the Bath Philharmonia gave a concert. The second half was devoted to performing substantial excerpts from Loder's Raymond and Agnes. The conductor was Jason Thornton, and the concert took place (and was rehearsed) in the beautiful Assembly Rooms.

The Pickwick and Cups & Saucers Recording

These late 19th-century pieces were recorded in September 2016 at the National Opera Studio. Here are pictures from the recording sessions, with singers, pianist, engineer, and cup-and-saucer player.

Christmas Gambols Recording

Charles Dibdin was a great theatrical character - we recorded two of his 18th century Table Entertainments in June 2017 and you can see the performers here, and some of the behind-the-scenes pictures.
